Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman is has signed a new two-year deal with the Sky Bet Championship side.
He originally signed for 18 months when he took over from Stuart Pearce but his position was set to be reviewed at the end of the season.
However, now the former Bolton and Crystal Palace manager has shaken hands with owner Fawaz Al Hasawi on his new deal with the Championship club.
Here is some of the twitter reaction to the story:
Dougie Freedman has agreed a new 2yr contract with #nffc and signed paperwork. Now with LMA lawyers. Formal completion within 24hrs. #SSNHQ

Football can be strange. Forest sack Stuart Pearce and, after losing 4 out of 5 games, Dougie Freedman now gets a two-year deal!

Not sure how you can't like Dougie freedman, talks a lot of sense, wants effort and pride, which is what we all want. Get behind him! #NFFC

I definitely preferred Dougie Freedman more as a player.
