A “failed tram” caused by a “technical fault” in Nottingham has led to delays to services in both directions.
At 8.20am NET tweeted to say the tram, between Highbury Vale and Bulwell, had been removed from the line and all services are running “but with delays”.
Update – We have now removed the failed tram and we are running a full service but with delays. Thank you for your continued patience 🙂

A NET spokesman told Notts TV: “Due to a technical fault one of our trams stopped close Highbury Vale this morning causing some delays to other services.
“The tram has since returned to the depot and services across the network are now returning to normal. We apologise for any inconvenience to customers.”
Earlier this morning, just after 8am, the company tweeted to say: “We have increased wait times due to a failed tram Between Highbury Vale and Bulwell.”
But 10 minutes later, the company tweeted technicians were “on site who are working as quickly as possible to get the tram moving”.
