Young Nottingham Forest fans got the chance to meet their heroes as a group of first team players signed autographs and took photographs with the junior reds.

Goalkeeper Dorus De Vries was one of the players present at the City Ground event as well over a hundred fans showed up to meet the team.

He said: “It’s great, just look at the crowd that showed up. It’s great to give something back for the little kids, bringing a smile to their faces. I’m sure they’ll give us one back too.”

Injured club captain Chris Cohen, Jack Hobbs and Chris O’Grady were just some of the other players meeting fans and posing for selfies.

Manager Dougie Freedman was also at the event and got a bit of advice on his tactics from one cheeky young fan.

“Play 4-4-2 next time,” said the youngster, as he met the Scotsman.
