The inquest is set to begin into the death of a four year old boy who died two days after leaving Nottingham Children’s hospital.
Harry Procko, from St Ann’s went into the children’s hospital based in the Queen’s Medical Centre in June 2014.
The toddler was initially taken to the hospital with vomiting and diarrhoea.
His family claim that he was misdiagnosed and after being discharged from the hospital Harry died only two days later.
Harry’s parents, Richard Clements and Maria Procko believe changes are needed in hospitals to prevent things like this happening to other families.
Mr Clements said: “I hope that a lot of awareness is given to the circumstances in which everything happened to make sure this can’t happen again.”
