Jason Turner is set to be appointed chief executive of Notts County, Notts TV understands.
He will be installed in the near future having left Newport at the end of January.
Turner has previously worked at Cardiff City, Bath City and Plymouth Argyle and will be replacing Julian Winter in the Meadow Lane boardroom.
He is set to follow new manager Mark Cooper into the club, who replaced Jamie Fullarton as Magpies’ boss yesterday.
