Local station Notts TV celebrates six months on air

New local TV station ‘Notts TV’ is celebrating after being on air for six months.

After going live on the 27th May 2014, the channel, popular for it’s mascot the ‘Blue Duck’, has now reached the six month milestone.

Notts TV transmits on Freeview Channel 8 and Virgin Channel 159 – seven days a week from 4pm to midnight.

It’s programmes are produced by a dedicated team set up to run the channel, by the Notts TV consortium companies, and by local producers.

Speaking of the birthday, Channel Director Jamie Brindle said:

The support from across Notts has been fantastic from day one and it’s great to be able to share six months of success.”
