Man dressed as fairy assaulted in city centre

Witnesses are being asked to come forward after a man dressed as a fairy was attacked in Nottingham city centre.

It happened at 4.25am on Saturday, October 31, on the junction between Queen Street and Lower Parliament Street.

The victim was in fancy dress, wearing a tutu and fairy wings.

He suffered a serious head injury, but it is not believed to be life-threatening.

Detectives investigating the incident believe there are witnesses who have not yet come forward, but may hold important information.
