Man hit by a car in Huntingdon Street suffered potentially ‘life-threatening injuries’

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a 39-year-old man was hit by a car in Huntingdon Street.

Police were called to the scene at 12:30am after reports that a man had been hit by a silver Honda Civic.

The 39-year-old suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car and has been taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre.

Another man also suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital but has since been released.

Police say the incident is not believed to be suspicious at this time.

The road was closed for some time but has since been re-opened.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 101.
