A man has been released on bail after being questioned over the death of a woman in West Bridgford.
The body of the 29-year-old woman was found at a semi detached house on Alford Court, off Alford Road, just after 6.30am on Tuesday morning.
Detectives arrested a 33-year-old man shortly afterwards. He was released on bail late on Wednesday.
Officers sealed off the house and began to examine the scene after the discovery, and a police cordon was still in place on Thursday morning.
Floral tributes have been left on the front lawn of the house, which is close to Alford Road Park.
A Notts Police spokesman said the man had been released “pending further enquiries”.
