Tunisian beach attack: Minute’s silence to be held in memory of victims

A minute’s silence will be held across the country in memory of the victims of the Tunisia beach massacre that happened in Sousse.

The minute’s silence which is due to take place June 3 at 12pm will see the country come to a stand still in memory of the 38 people who died on Marhaba beach.

Nottingham’s minute of silence in recognition of the tragedy that happened will take place outside the Nottingham County Council.

Prime Minister David Cameron tweeted: “I’ve asked for a national minute’s silence on Friday at noon in memory of those murdered in the Tunisia terror attacks.”

John Stollery who worked for Nottinghamshire County Council was amongst those killed when he was on holiday with his wife and son.
