Video: Philippe Montanier denies any bidding and has called it ‘speculation’
Forest boss Philippe Montanier has said the Reds have not received any bids for their players and that claims are ‘speculation.’
This comes after Britt Assombalonga, who scored a brace against Burton Albion last weekend, has been linked with a move to Norwich.
Speaking ahead of Forest’s game against Brighton tonight (Friday August 12), Montanier was asked whether or not he had received any bids from other teams for Forest players.
It’s all just speculation
He said: “At the moment, no, it’s all just speculation.
“I’m just focused on the game against Brighton as it’s the most important thing that we have coming up.
“The fitness of the players for tomorrow is good and we have a large squad so we have the choice to put out the best line-up that we have.”
