Nickelback cancel tour

Extended vocal rest for Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger has forced the band to cancel all remaining 2015 dates including the Capital FM arena.

The multi-platform selling rock band Nickleback have been forced to cancel all remaining dates for the 2015 ‘No Fixed Address’ tour due to an extended period of vocal rest ordered for lead singer Chad Kroeger.

Nickelback who were due to perform at Capital FM Arena in Nottingham on 22 November 2015.

Kroeger, who was diagnosed with an intracordal cyst on his voice box in June, recently underwent surgery and must remain on vocal rest as ordered by doctors for the next six months in order to fully recuperate.

Nickelback cancelled the second leg of the 2015 North American tour in June when doctor’s first diagnosed Kroeger with an operable cyst on his vocal cords.

They were scheduled to resume the European leg of the tour in September, but while the medical team is pleased with the results of the surgery, it was revealed that Kroeger will require an extended period of recovery in order to heal properly.

“We are sorry to miss our fans out on the road, but Chad’s health, healing and full recovery are what is most important right now.”

The band also said;”With the proper amount of time, we hope to have him back stronger and better than before. We thank everyone for their support and understanding.”

Customers who purchased tickets via the Capital FM Arena Nottingham website or the Arena Ticketing & Customer Services Team do not need to contact the venue. They will be automatically refunded within the next two or three weeks.

If tickets were purchased via a ticketing agency such as Ticketmaster, Ticketline, Platinum, See Tickets, Gigantic, Viagogo, Stub Hub etc. Customers must contact them directly for a refund.
