Nottingham band’s song makes it on to Fifa 16 soundtrack

A Nottingham band have made it on to the soundtrack for the world famous game Fifa 16.

Duo April Towers have had 14,000 views on YouTube for their newest single ‘A little bit of fear’ which will feature on the new game.

Alex Noble, 24, from the band, said: “I couldn’t believe it was real, I’ve played Fifa since I was about 14, so to then find out that our song would be on it is just incredible”

”It has elevated us even before the game has been released, the soundtrack was released worldwide so people from all over the world have been listening to our music”

Their views on Spotify have risen massively from 30,000 to 80,000 views in just a week.

Charles Burley, the other half of the band, said: “Fifa is just such a huge game, with a massive fan base, in particular of students and it seems that students are the ones to be most interested in our music.”

Alex is from is Wysall and Charles was born in West Bridgford but now lives in Mapperley Park.

Fifa 16 will be out next Tuesday but the soundtrack for the game is on Spotify now.
