Protestors have managed to drive away bailiffs who had come to evict Tom Crawford, a recovered cancer patient, from his home following a dispute with a bank over his mortgage.
The bailiffs arrived to evict Mr Crawford at around 11.30am but were stopped by a 500 strong crowd of protesters who had gathered outside his bungalow on Fearn Chase, Carlton where he has lived in for 25 years.
This is the second time protestors have came to Mr Crawford’s home and stopped it from being repossessed.
The first attempted eviction happened in July of last year but was unsuccessful due to the mass of support the 63-year-old had gained from documenting his plight on YouTube.
