Nottingham institute’s new collaboration to increase opportunities for creative students

A Nottingham based provider of digital media and creative technology courses has announced a partnership with a further education provider.

From September 2017, Confetti will be running further education courses in collaboration with Access to Music.

Confetti is a specialist creative industry education and training centre and is also part of Nottingham Trent University; its patrons include Jake Bugg and Vicky McClure.

Access to Music is a leading college for the creative industries and its patrons include Ed Sheeran and Jess Glynne.

Vice-Chancellor at Nottingham Trent University Professor Edward Peck said: “I am delighted that Confetti and Access to Music are going to work together to the benefit of students.

“It will also benefit the two organisations, and importantly, the vibrancy of the creative and cultural scene in Nottingham.”

Founder and chief executive of Confetti Craig Chettle said: “This is very much an aligning of specialist organisations with shared ambitions and passions.

“It makes perfect and practical sense to work more closely together for the benefit of students.

“For those studying with us in Nottingham it means connection to Access to Music sites across the country and a sharing of knowledge and expertise resulting in bigger and better industry connections and more opportunities to put learning into practice.”
