Notts MP attacks troll who posted Tweet calling for her to be murdered

A Nottinghamshire MP has tackled a troll on Twitter who posted a Tweet calling for her to be murdered.
Conservative Broxtowe MP Anna Soubry responded to a Tweet which said ‘someone Jo Cox Anna Sourby [sic] please,’ posted at 7.41am this morning (Friday December 2) by user @MikeM9131.
Jo Cox was the Labour MP for Batley and Spen, a constituency in West Yorkshire, who was stabbed and shot multiple times following a constituency meeting.
Ms Soubry posted a screenshot of the Tweet and said: “This is what happened to our politics; tolerance and free speech must prevail.”
Her Tweet received more than 450 likes and 550 retweets as of 10am.
The account that the original Tweet came from appears to have been deleted.

Ms Soubry’s response has received positive posts from other Twitter users.
@Anna_Soubry I don’t agree with a lot of your views n general but that is absolutely abhorrent. This is what the politics of hate delivers.

@DougallChops @Anna_Soubry Agree absolutely. I also admire your courage & dignity in facing up to these very nasty people

@BydysawdCatrin @Anna_Soubry if we don’t face up to them they win. That can’t be allowed to happen.
