Police dive teams have joined the search for a 22-year-old Nottinghamshire woman who has now been missing for a week.
Notts Police frogmen are carrying out searches in a lake at Sutton Lawn Park, Sutton-in-Ashfield, in connection with the search for Melanie Wilson.
Miss Wilson was last seen in the Mansfield area at 11.20pm on Wednesday, October 19, and police are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.
She is white, about 5ft 6ins tall and is of a slim build.
Detective Inspector Rebecca Hodgman said: “It’s now been a week since
Melanie went missing and we haven’t had any credible sightings of her.
“Melanie hasn’t got her mobile phone with her, which is concerning for someone who is so active on social media, and we don’t think she has taken any provisions with her.”
