Address : 17 Meadow Lane, Nottingham, NG2 3HS

If you’ve never been here before, the Trent Navigation may well test your own navigation skills. Nestled between Notts County’s Meadow Lane ground and a sea of industrial units, it’d be all too easy to think you’ve taken a very bad wrong turn. If you’re coming from London Road, use the canal footbridge rather than the main road.

On the bar you’ll be welcomed with up to a dozen or so real ales, many from the Navigation Brewery which is based on the site. It doesn’t get much fresher than that – and in recent times the firm has branched out into a rather tasty batch of craft beers too. Like all Navigation bars, there’s no Camra discount – but the prices here are reasonable enough.

Live sport features heavily here, though the large bar and neat beer garden give you plenty of space to be able to hear yourself speak.
