British Transport Police published a report today which indicated that overall crime rates on trains in the Midlands have decreased over the past year.
However reported incidents of violence against another person has risen by 15.6% compared to the 2013/14 statistics and reported sexual crimes has risen by 10.5%.
On the plus side, theft of passenger property dropped by 11.6% and reports of possession of a controlled drug decreased by a massive 36.6%.
