A Notts Taekwondo master is ‘losing count’ of the world champions he trains and there could soon be more.
Heart of England Taekwondo is preparing a team of athletes to spar against the world’s best in Argentina later this year.
Chairman of Heart of England Taekwondo, Gary Bradshaw, said: “I’ve lost count of how many world champions we’ve had, we’ve certainly had quite a few.
“When I was young the facilities weren’t there.
“I could have been a good competitor but the coaching wasn’t there so I’ve done something for my students to make sure they’ve got it and we will see where it goes after Argentina.”
