An 18-year-old Nottingham woman has been found dead in Ibiza.
The body of Becky Brock was found on the Spanish holiday island on Monday.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious by local police, but tests are ongoing to establish the exact cause.
A spokesman for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said: “We can confirm the death of a British national on September 28 in Ibiza, Spain. We are providing consular assistance to the family at this difficult time.”
The spokesman declined to comment on reports she had been found unresponsive in a hotel room.
Dozens of people have posted tributes to the teenager online.
Charlotte Pudge wrote: “Wish I stayed longer and could have been there for you. All my best memories in Ibiza have been with you. We made so many plans for next year I just can’t believe we won’t be doing them.”
And Tobias Wayland posted: “My thought’s are with your friends and family, will miss you.”
