Two people have been arrested following an alleged assault outside the Stadium Leisure pub in New Basford on Sunday morning.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene on Nottingham Road following reports of a disturbance in at 12.50am.
A 29-year-old man was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre to be treated for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Officers have since arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and a 28-year-old woman on suspicion of obstructing a police officer.
Both remain in police custody.
Police are asking anyone who saw the incident or has any information to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 59 of June 12.
