Joe Canon, from Hucknall died after a collision between an off-road motorcycle and a transit van earlier this week.
His friends and family have gathered to attend a vigil at the cite of the crash, with 200 attending on Friday evening to release lanterns and 150 on Sunday evening.
The collision happened on Wednesday afternoon at 1.15pm at the junction between Shaw Crescent and Robin Hood Drive, Hucknall.
Joe was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after his bike collided into the van. He was pronounced dead on Friday.
A fundraising page has been set up by to help pay for his funeral costs and his headstone which has so far raised over £200.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is being urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101.
