Will Barbie’s makeover help improve body perceptions?

Barbie is to receive a dramatic makeover in 2016, toy company Mattel has said.

The new range includes three optional body shapes – petite, tall and curvy.

It comes after some people claimed a constantly-thin doll was giving the wrong message to young girls about body image.
