A 21-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murdering an elderly man in Mansfield Woodhouse last night (June 5).
Police and an ambulance were called to a house in Long Meadow at around 9.10pm on Monday night and a 66-year-old man with “serious injuries” died after being taken to Kings Mill Hospital.
The woman is to be interviewed by police – but investigators believe it is an isolated incident.
Police are not searching for anyone else.
