Video: Talented Eddie, 8, already has dreams of skating for GB at the Olympics

The Olympics are over for another four years – but by the time Tokyo 2020 comes around the games will have even more sport to offer.

Skating will make its debut in the next Olympic cycle and with several talented experts locally, the change could open up medal chances for Nottinghamshire.

And Notts TV met a possible future star of the sport at the Flo Skatepark on Poulton Drive, Colwick.

Eddie Lowe, from Arnold, is only eight but already showing signs of real talent with a skateboard.

“I like big airs – although it’s a teeny bit scary,” he said.

“I always go for scary though.”
