68-year-old man arrested after attempted abduction of toddler in Eastwood

A 68-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an attempted abduction of a three year-old boy in Eastwood.

Nottinghamshire Police have launched an investigation after the child was targeted on Princes Street on Monday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: “A 68-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday and remains in custody.”

“Nobody was injured during the incident.”
