Arnold man covers his arm in tattoos of Nottingham landmarks

Nottingham man gets tattoos of Robin Hood, Brian Clough, Left Lion,

An Arnold dad decided to show his love of Nottingham with a set of tattoos showing off some of the city’s iconic landmarks.

Ryan Walker-Drain, 25, dreamt up the unusual sleeve design after realising how much he missed his home town while working around the country on shop fitting jobs.

He designed the trio of designs alongside artists at Danny’s Tattoo Studio in Sneinton and got them all done at the weekend.

Ryan said: “It had always been my intention since I was 18 and started getting tattoos to get something done which represents Nottingham.

“But I’ve not been able to put it together in mind before now as to how it would look or where it would go.

“I just adore Nottingham. There’s something special about the city, the people, and the history.

“I feel it makes me tick.”

Ryan’s right arm is now covered with designs of the left lion in Old Market Square, the Brian Clough Statue and the Robin Hood statue.
