The result for Sherwood is set to be one of the closest in Nottinghamshire with Labour and Conservatives neck and neck.
Mark Spencer won in 2010 for the Conservatives with a tiny majority of 214 votes (0.4%).
It looks as if this result will be just as close with Spencer “highly doubtful” he will be able to hang on to his seat.
Turnout in the constituency rose slightly to 69.3%.
