Mark Spencer has held Sherwood increasing his majority by almost 10% winning almost 45% of the vote.
Labour’s, Leonie Mathers came second with 35.9% of the vote, translating to 18, 186 votes.
Spencer says he was “humbled and delighted” to win the seat after only winning the seat by 214 votes back in 2010.

UKIP came third but increased their share of the vote by 10%.
Overall the turnout was 69.1%.
