A house in Daybrook has been left badly damaged by a fire which broke out in a back bedroom.
Notts Fire and Rescue Service were called to the home in Rosecroft Avenue at around 11pm last night and found the two-storey terraced well alight.
Crews from Arnold and Stockhill fire stations attended and used breathing equipment to get into the house and put the blaze out.
The incident was declared over at 12.43am and no-one is thought to have been seriously hurt.
