Police say the death of a man found inside a burning vehicle in Carlton is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers were called to Garden City at around 2am on Wednesday (October 17) after firefighters called to the blaze discovered the body inside.
Police taped off the area and forensics officers examined the scene.
Detectives said initially the death was being treated as ‘unexplained’ but in an update on Thursday said enquiries had indicated the incident is not suspicious.
In a statement, Notts Police also added the person found is a man, but he has not yet been formally identified.
