Girl, 8, injured following crash in Sneinton with man arrested on suspicion of failing to stop after collision

An eight-year-old girl was left with a broken ankle following a collision with a car in Sneinton.

The incident on Sneinton Dale, near the junction with Ashfield Road, happened just after 6pm on Tuesday (June 12).

The girl was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop after a collision; he has been released under investigation.

Nottinghamshire Police Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or for any drivers who have dashcam footage to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident number 708 of June 12.
