Video: Students queued all night to get their hands on a Ocean ticket
Hundreds of people have camped out overnight to try to get the last Ocean student night tickets of the academic year.
Around 400 tickets for the event were released at the Nottingham Trent University Student Union at 10am, with students forming a queue 14 hours before.
Ocean is a student night that takes place every Wednesday during term-time, and is famed for its outrageous fancy dress themes.
Societies at the university often allocate their members a theme and head into Nottingham in fancy dress before ending up in Ocean.

Terrell Burgess, a first year Business Management and Entrepreneurship student, said: “I have queued since about 12.30am and have been here for about 10 hours.
“I got here a little bit later than the rest of the (american football) team, so I’ve chilled on my own, listened to some music and played on my phone. I haven’t been able to get to sleep today, so I’ll have a nap as soon as I get my ticket.
“I have been to pretty much every Ocean this year, so I can’t wait for this one – I expect it to be packed and be a really good night.”
Terrell will be the social secretary for the university’s american football team next year which means he will organise the Wednesday Ocean night and theme for the team.

There were also 300 tickets available from the Clifton campus, 100 tickets available online and 300 tickets available at Ocean on the night.
Miles Bloor, a final year NTU student, said: “I have been queuing since just after 12 last night, I will hopefully get tickets at around 10.30am when the queue dies down a bit.
“I’ve loved Ocean from the first time I went there. So as a final year now it’s just one of those things that has to be do done.”
He added that he potentially might have a cry on the dance floor at the end of the night if he gets let in.
