Police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a woman in Newark as she walked to her car.
The victim had walked from the town centre, onto Barnby Gate, turned into Sherwood Avenue and then made her way onto Beacon Hill Road.
The attacker struck in the area between the working men’s club and the entrance to Cross Street.

The attacker is described as in his late 20s to early 30s and wearing a black hat and hooded top. It is unclear whether the woman was followed or whether the man approached her from another direction.
Police are also urging anyone who has private CCTV in the area to check whether there is anything they think may assist the investigation.
