Nottinghamshire Police are looking for the owner of a horse that was found tied to a fence without any water.
An officer who tweeted a picture of the horse on Hawton Lane near Farndon has since left a notice to the owner asking them to remove the horse from the verge.
Officers have named the brown and white pony ‘Highway’.
Anyone with information on the owner should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101.
