An 18-year-old man has appeared in court in connection with an assault in Sherwood Rise yesterday.
Dontai Steadman, of Bagnall Road, Basford, appeared before Nottingham Magistrates today to face a charge of Grievous Bodily Harm.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on April 10.
Police were called to an incident in Hamilton Road just off Sherwood Rise, just after 1am yesterday (Sunday) following reports of an altercation.
Steadman was arrested along with two other men aged 18, and one aged 19.
They have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A 35-year-old man was taken to Queens Medical Centre with injuries not thought to be life threatening.
