A man has been arrested after a woman was the victim of a serious sexual assault in Newark in the early hours of Saturday.
Police said the woman was attacked on Castle Gate at about 1.55am on Saturday, 18 March.
The 24-year-old man, who is from Newark, has since been arrested and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
