Man pronounced dead at the scene of Mansfield crash

A man has died following a crash in Mansfield yesterday (Thursday November 24) morning.
A 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and the road was closed until 7.15pm yesterday so forensic investigations could take place after the collision happened at 11.15am.
The collision, which involved two cars and a lorry, happened on the A617 Sherwood Way East, between the A60 and A6191 Southwell Road West, south of Mansfield.
Notts Police, fire crews, ambulance teams and the air ambulance attended and described the crash as ‘serious.’
The lorry driver suffered head and leg injuries.
