Three men suffered slash wounds when a mass brawl broke out in a busy Nottingham street.
Notts Police say up to nine people were involved in the fight at the junction of Gregory Boulevard and North Street in Hyson Green.
It broke out at around 3pm on Monday afternoon, close to the New Art Exchange, in front of dozens of passing motorists and shoppers.
Insp Bruce Clarke said: “Clearly at that time of day, in that busy area of the city, it will have been quite concerning for people who witnessed it.
“I can re-assure people that it was an isolated incident.”
