A 27-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash near Newark.
It happened at around 6.30pm on Monday, May 16 in Grange Lane, Balderton, when the man’s Honda bike was in collision with a Honda Jazz car.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
The road, between Staple Lane and Cotham, was closed while police examined the scene and the carriageway was cleared. It re-opened at 7.30am today.
Anyone who saw the crash, or has any information about events leading up to the incident, is asked to contact Notts Police on 101 quoting incident 771 of May 16.
