An independent candidate standing for Nottingham East says he believes that the current part structure is undermining democracy.
He said: “When we have career politicians just rubber-stamping a party agenda it just neglects you being represented.”
“The party structure we have undermines our chances of being represented.”
He said that the campaign had been “exhilarating” and a “topsy-turvy ride” although very tiring and stressful.
