Nottingham has been given a yellow weather warning for this weekend from the Met Office.
High wind speeds are expected on both Saturday and Sunday with the warning urging people to be aware and prepare to change travel and activity plans.
Inland gusts will not be frequent but are expected to reach speeds of up to 55mph on Saturday with speeds of up to 70mph possible on Sunday.
The warning was issued earlier today at 10.54am and will last from 9am tomorrow until 6.00pm on Sunday.
