Video: Why Nottingham Labour MPs are backing Owen Smith’s leadership bid

Three Notts MPs have backed Owen Smith’s bid to become leader of the Labour party.

Nottingham East’s Chris Leslie, Lilian Greenwood for Nottingham South and Vernon Coaker of Gedling are supporting Smith’s bid to unseat  Jeremy Corbyn.

All three were joined by Notts Police and Crime Comissioner Paddy Tipping, the former Labour MP for Sherwood, at a phone bank session where campaigners attempted to gather support for Smith.

All three spoke to Notts TV about the battle to regain unity in the party and why Nottingham voters should back Labour at the next election.
