Nottingham music company is touring schools to inspire youngsters

Nusic is touring round schools to introduce the students to up and coming Nottingham artists and to hopefully inspire them to aim high for their careers.

Nusic is currently giving talks to different schools around Nottinghamshire to inspire pupils with a series of talks and musical performances from up and coming artists.

Year seven pupils at Big Wood School in Warren Hill were the most recent stop on the tour.

Mark Del, is leading the Nusic event in an attempt to get children to follow their dreams and to pursue a career they want.

Josh Kemp is one of the up and coming artists touring schools with Nusic.

He started playing the piano when he was four-years-old and decided to follow his passion for music and make it into a career.

Josh believes talking to students about their career path at an early age is “incredibly important”.

The performances seemed to go well with all the youngsters clapping along and questioning the performers about their careers in music.

Nusic hopes that the tour will give pupils the chance to see what can happen if you follow your dreams, whether that is to become a musician, a doctor, a politician or anything they set their minds on.
