Nottingham people are being invited to quiz leaders of the county’s NHS service at a meeting later this month.
Chiefs from the NHS Nottingham City Clinical Commissioning Group’s governing body, which is the organisation responsible for planning and buying healthcare services in Nottingham, are set to meet on Wednesday, March 25.
Residents are being invited to attend the meeting and can submit questions to the board prior to the meeting that will be raised on the day.
The open meeting will allow members of the public to find out more about the way their local NHS is run, and how their taxes are being spent.
“Meetings of our governing body are held in public and local people are always welcome to come along and listen to the discussions,” said Lucy Branson, associate director of corporate development at the CCG.
“People who are interested can check the agenda in advance and submit any questions. The governing body will then consider and answer those questions verbally at the meeting, and we’ll also post a written response online.”
