Nottinghamshire police are searching for two men in connection with a serious assault that took place in Mapperley Top on Christmas Eve.
The 39-year-old victim was treated for serious facial injuries at the Queen’s Medical after being attacked by two white men, both described as being in their early 20s.
The suspects, both of a slight build, were wearing jeans; one wearing a Christmas jumper and the other a black coat.
Following the attack, the offenders got in a taxi which then travelled towards Nottingham.
The incident took place around 10.40pm, on December 24, in Woodborough Road.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact 101, quoting incident number 822 of 24 December 2014.
