Nottinghamshire police are investigating a fire at a day nursery that started on Monday (October 10) night.
At around 8.30pm, four fire engines tackled the blaze at Mountford House Nursery on Mansfield Road, Carrington.
The fire began on the ground floor and was reported as under control by 10.05pm but two floors and the basement have considerable damage.
The nursery will be closed until further notice.
