This picture shows the moment a runaway reindeer was finally cornered after escaping from a festive event in Carlton on Sunday.
The animal slipped away from his handlers during an appearance at Tesco and briefly ran amok through nearby streets.
He was soon rescued and returned safely to his handlers when he wandered into a garden, after several people spotted him and posted updates about his journey on social media.
New pictures have emerged today of him being herded back into a trailer after his unplanned adventure at lunchtime.
