Police warning after indecent exposure to schoolchildren in West Bridgford

Nottinghamshire Police have warned parents and children to remain vigilant after reports of a man exposing himself to children on two occasions.

The first incident was reported at around 8:15am on June 15 on Devonshire Road where a man exposed himself to to 3 schoolchildren aged between 10 and 11 before heading towards the Green Line Old Railway Line.

Schools in the area were made aware of the incident before a second report came in of a man of a similar description exposing himself to a 9 year old boy on Elton Road at around 8:20am on June 11.

The man is described as white, aged between 16 and 19, around 5ft 8 ins tall, of slim build and has a tanned complexion. He had dark brown or black hair and was wearing black sports shorts and a brown t-shirt.

Inspector Craig Berry from the West Bridgford neighbourhood policing team said “We are keen for children and their parents to remain vigilant as our officers look to trace this man who we believe could be responsible for both incidents and could be identified by his large, freckled nose.”

“The local neighbourhood policing team have been continuing their enquiries and conducting additional patrols in a bid to reassure parents, who have already been contacted by their children’s schools.”
